The GBS Business Process Management CoC Consultant will provide advice and expert services in using IBM BPM software and services to: - Holistically transform client’s interconnected operations - Increase productivity - Increase agility to adapt processes and decisions to changing market conditions - Consistency and repeatability leading to better output and lower compliance costs/risks The value they generate with their customers and partners in a rapidly changing digital world by rethinking customer value, developing new levels of customer insight and developing new ways of facilitating customer and partner engagement, thus driving predictable and improved business outcomes. The CoC BPM consultant will do the following: Business Development - Assist the IMT teams to identify and cultivate potential BPM opportunities with key clients in their respective territories - Plan, coordinate, and/or participate in specific business development opportunities - Participate in Industry/Service Line joint marketing campaigns and specific events that are held within the IMT geographies, by making speeches, writing articles, and assisting in demonstrations Sales Pursuit - Provide BPM Subject Matter Expertise to assist in developing the proposed technical solution, project plan, and resource estimates. - Assist in developing the overall value proposition for the proposed deal - Help coordinate the participation of critical IBM Brand resources and third party vendor professionals needed to craft the solution - Advise the sales pursuit team on IBM BPM assets and accelerators - Write sections of the proposal documents, including the technical solution, roles and responsibilities, value proposition, and the cost case - Participate in preparation of proposal presentations; and present and explain the proposed solution to the customer - Participate in developing the overall Win Strategy and engagement plan - Assist in completing the development, negotiation, approval, and management of the bid budget Delivery - Participate in initial BPM discovery, Quick Win Pilots and initial solutioning engagements - Provide part time "on demand" assistance to resolve critical open issues that arise throughout the delivery life cycle - Advise the IBM delivery team, as well as the customer, regarding key decisions related to unique Industry/Service Line specific systems and operations - Help establish project staffing and governance, assist with project plan development, coordinate project kick-off activities - Provide SME support, perform project reviews, help troubleshoot project issues Solution Development - Assist IBM Business Units and GBS teams to partner with third party ISVs and NEPs to develop joint go to market solutions for the Industry - Develop the Technical Solution, Project Plan, and Resource Estimates to complete the joint solution - Manage the joint solution development projects - Collaborating cross-brand and cross-geo to bring the full-breadth solution to clients | |||||||||||
